As part of a practical exchange with leading representatives of the economy and the state government of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (M-V), a critical analysis was made on the subject of 'Digitization in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’ and, above all, the question was discussed: 'What does the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and what needs the economy? ". The Kuratorium Gesundheitswirtschaft, which has been set up by the state, has been discussing intensively the question of digitization in M-V for some time now: Where will digitization turn entire industries, especially in the healthcare industry, on their heads in the future? What impact does this process have on local companies in M-V, business and society? What do the new business models look like in the digital age? Which new technologies will make them possible in the future?
CENTOGENE GmbH took the initiative to discuss solutions for the integration of biotechnology in IT structures, in university research and application as well as perspectives of applied proximity during a workshop in the company's main building in Rostock. The goal is to publish a precise catalog of action and expectations on this basis in the first half of 2019. ROSTOCK, 18. März 2019 - Im Rahmen eines Praxisaustauschs mit führenden Vertretern der Wirtschaft und der Landesregierung Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (M-V) wurde eine kritische Analyse zum Thema ‚Digitalisierung in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern‘ vorgenommen und dabei vor allem die Frage diskutiert: "Was braucht das Land Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und was braucht die Wirtschaft?". Das vom Land eingesetzte Kuratorium Gesundheitswirtschaft diskutiert schon längere Zeit intensiv die Frage der Digitalisierung in M-V: Wo stellt die Digitalisierung in Zukunft ganze Branchen, insbesondere in der Gesundheitswirtschaft, auf den Kopf? Was für Auswirkungen hat dieser Prozess auf die lokalen Unternehmen in M-V, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft? Wie sehen die neuen Geschäftsmodelle im digitalen Zeitalter aus? Welche neuen Technologien machen sie in Zukunft möglich? CENTOGENE GmbH hat die Initiative ergriffen und anlässlich eines Workshops im Firmenhauptgebäude in Rostock Lösungsansätze zur Integration von Biotechnologie in IT-Strukturen, in universitäre Forschung und Anwendung, sowie Perspektiven aus angewandter Nähe diskutiert. Ziel ist es, einen präzisen Handlungs- und Erwartungskatalog auf dieser Basis noch im 1.
