Strategic Partnership in Italy between CENTOGENE and Bianalisi

May 27, 2025

On the occasion of ESHG2025 – the European Congress dedicated to human genetics taking place in Milan – we are pleased to announce a strategic partnership between Bianalisi and Centogene, a global leader in clinical genetics and precision medicine.

This initiative marks a new paradigm in integrated diagnostics, combining Centogene’s expertise in genetics with Bianalisi’s extensive experience in laboratory medicine and widespread presence throughout Italy.

Highly specialized genetic tests will now be available across Bianalisi’s facilities, supporting patients, hospitals, laboratories, and medical specialists within an infrastructure designed to serve precision medicine and clinical research. This partnership will offer concrete tools to enhance prevention, early diagnosis, and the overall quality of care.

Thanks to CENTOGENE’s unique database—one of the world’s largest, with over one million clinically characterized patients—and Bianalisi’s national network, it will be possible to support the diagnosis of complex diseases and the identification of genetically eligible patients for clinical trials.

Our mission at CENTOGENE is to guide and support physicians and their patients through precision medicine by providing advanced genetic diagnostics.
We are excited to launch this strategic partnership with Bianalisi at the ESHG conference in Milan. Together, we are bringing precision medicine to the Italian market for the benefit of all patients and improving their quality of life
