UU. Antes de Shire, trabaj\u00f3 en Novartis durante 6 a\u00f1os, ocupando diversos puestos, entre ellos, Director de Estrategia de Alcon y Director General de Alcon Singapur. Sun tambi\u00e9n trabaj\u00f3 en Bausch &amp; Lomb, donde dirigi\u00f3 el departamento de estrategia de la unidad de negocio farmac\u00e9utica. Antes de su experiencia en la industria farmac\u00e9utica, Sun trabaj\u00f3 durante 7 a\u00f1os como Consultor de Gesti\u00f3n en McKinsey &amp; Company y AT Kearney.
