CENTOGENE offers Coronavirus testing at Nuremberg Central Station for returning travelers from high-risk regions as defined by the Robert-Koch-Institute (RKI)*. The CENTOGENE Test Center offers an RT-PCR test (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction Test), which detects whether there is an acute infection with the virus, and thus the risk of infecting other people they come in contact with. The detection is carried out by means of a throat swab.
