Lufthansa, Fraport, and CENTOGENE have partnered to offer Coronavirus testing at Frankfurt Airport via a Test Center in the immediate vicinity. The CENTOGENE Test Center offers an RT-PCR test (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction Test) as well as a rapid antigen test, which detects whether there is an acute infection with the virus, and thus the risk of infecting other people they come in contact with. The detection is carried out by means of a throat swab.
"I flew from California to Germany and upon arrival did a COVID-19 test at Frankfurt Airport. I received my results the same day. In contrast, my test results in San Francisco took more than 10 days. Point being: It’s possible to get a handle on this. There is hope."
"I passed the testing center at Frankfurt Airport this morning and was deeply impressed by the professionalism in handling the amount of people waiting to be tested. Congratulations to the team!"
"Testing at Frankfurt Airport allowed for COVID-19 to be detected in one of my loved ones immediately after they arrived. We were then able to take all of the necessary steps. More importantly, CENTOGENE helped me to finally reunite with my family after months apart, while keeping the health and safety of everyone at the forefront."

Where Can I Get Tested?
The CENTOGENE Test Center is centrally located at Frankfurt Airport between Terminal 1 and the national long-distance railway station (ICE station). The center is outside the transit area, so you need to have the necessary visa or residence permit to pass the security and immigration check point to take a COVID-19 test at the CENTOGENE Test Center.
After leaving the security checkpoint, take the escalators up between Terminals A and B, and cross the footbridge in the direction of the long-distance train station. Once you have arrived in the other building, you will find the Test Center on the right-hand side as you head towards the long-distance train station, which is located in the Squaire.
Take the escalators up, and follow the signs to the terminals. Go approx. 70m to reach the Test Center, located on the left-hand side of the conveyors.
Follow the signs in the direction of the long-distance train station. You will find the Test Center at the crossing to the Squaire on the right-hand side.
We only test persons who are not showing symptoms to protect the health of our staff and other persons testing at our test center.
If you experience typical COVID-19 symptoms (difficulties breathing, newly developed cough, fever or loss of smell or taste), please contact your doctor by phone for advice on where to get tested. Alternatively, you can call 116 117 or your local health authority for more information on where you can get tested. Read more...
