CENTOGENE offers Coronavirus testing at Düsseldorf Airport. The CENTOGENE Test Center offers an RT-PCR test (Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction Test), which detects whether there is an acute infection with the virus, and thus the risk of infecting other people they come in contact with. The detection is carried out by means of a throat swab.

The airlines in the Lufthansa Group recommend that passengers take a comprehensive look at the current entry requirements for their destination and have themselves tested in a timely manner before departure. Some destinations, such as China, require a negative PCR test result on entry. Entry into other countries is also made easier with a negative COVID-19 result.
