The Senior Market Development Manager is responsible for developing the US market opportunity for Centogene’s industrial partnership model. The position will include supporting the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of core business opportunities with industrial partners plus the foundational analysis to establish and take forward Centogene’s strategic operational planning. In addition, the Manager assumes an active role in supporting sales of our knowledge-base products including CentoMD® the largest rare hereditary mutation database available.

  • Complete analysis of the rare disease diagnostic market with the goal of identifying new industrial partnership opportunities for Centogene in the US
  • Identify and pursue relevant pharma and biotechnology companies to maximize the value of Centogene’s technology and products in a way that achieves the company’s strategic objectives in the US
  • Play supporting role for deal partner negotiations, creating draft proposals including technical rationale, building consensus with the external counterpart, and articulating the deal value proposition to the management board
  • Identify and network with key KOLs and relevant foundations in support of market development

Your profile

Education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a diagnostic or CRO company or healthcare focused consulting role

Clinical Research Associate identifies the sites, initiating and tracking the process of the studies submission to Ethic Committees/Regulatory bodies, monitors clinical studies and assures high quality of the clinical data.

Your responsibilities
  • Keeps him/herself professionally abreast of all scientific, regulatory and operative aspects relevant to the clinical projects he/she will be assigned
  • Assists in the selection of sites, site evaluation, initiation visits and ensuring follow up by obtaining the pre-study documentation to ensure good start-up of the investigation sites
  • Performs study feasibility
  • Performs training site staff in all study procedures in order to ensure protocol/ICH-GCP compliance
  • Conducts and reports periodic monitoring visits in the field and reviews at each visit accuracy, legibility, completeness and quality of Case Report Form (CRF) in compliance with the protocol, SOP’s and ICH-GCP requirements in order to ensure data integrity and subject safety
  • Conducts source data verification and in house review of clinical data and ensuring timely resolution of data queries to guarantee reliable clinical data
  • Manages the trial material (Investigator study file (ISF), CRF, questionnaires, diaries, etc.) to ensure timely and correct supply to the site
  • Conducts and reports study termination and related activities (e.g. archiving) guaranteeing smooth completion of the project
  • Is the main contact person for the site in order to ensure close follow-up
  • Promptly addresses the Project Management Team about any issues that can jeopardize the conduct of the clinical projects assigned
  • Reports to Centogene Clinical Trial Department Director on all activities performed during the study and sends all relevant documents according to the timelines and the requirements agreed for each single clinical trial
  • Assists in contract negotiation with sites on study budget
  • Assists in the preparation of the study, organizes the study files and documents to ensure good start-up of the investigation sites
  • Supports the submission process in the project (or region), including submission requirements, timelines, accordingly he/she can be required to provide updates on the applicable regulation for the application process in the country of work, whenever relevant
Your profile
  • University Degree in scientific, medical or paramedical degree
  • 2-3 years (at least) of experience as a CRA
  • Excellent knowledge of clinical trial operations, GCP/ICH Guidelines, FDA and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Fluent in English, Spanish knowledge is a plus

        The Department of Pathology is embedded within the diagnostic departments of CENTOGENE, and works within the internal and external organizations to ensure that strategies for the treatment and cure especially of tumor diseases are based on accurate analyses of pathogenic and genetic mechanisms. The Department collaborates with and provides pathology support to scientists in the genetic testing especially of somatic mutations, characterization, and preclinical development of novel therapeutic products. Pathologist support effort includes participation on teams devoted to the development of predictive and prognostic markers in many of these diseases.

        Your qualifications
