The Senior Market Development Manager is responsible for developing the US market opportunity for Centogene’s industrial partnership model. The position will include supporting the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of core business opportunities with industrial partners plus the foundational analysis to establish and take forward Centogene’s strategic operational planning. In addition, the Manager assumes an active role in supporting sales of our knowledge-base products including CentoMD® the largest rare hereditary mutation database available.

  • Complete analysis of the rare disease diagnostic market with the goal of identifying new industrial partnership opportunities for Centogene in the US
  • Identify and pursue relevant pharma and biotechnology companies to maximize the value of Centogene’s technology and products in a way that achieves the company’s strategic objectives in the US
  • Play supporting role for deal partner negotiations, creating draft proposals including technical rationale, building consensus with the external counterpart, and articulating the deal value proposition to the management board

Your profile

Education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities required:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall coordination and management of clinical trials from start up through close out activities according to contractual time, quality/ cost parameters.  The PM leads cross-functional teams and works with major functional area leads to identify/mitigate/escalate project issues and ensures solutions are implemented. Moreover, the PM is accountable for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the client/contract expectations, adhering to company standards/processes while ensuring overall client satisfaction.

  • Primary interface with client representatives as well as staff members in the functional departments to ensure the timely initiation and completion of epidemiological clinical trials
  • Assigned to manage a range of projects; from the small limited in scope projects (US wide) to larger, more-complex studies involving numerous countries in different continents and translational research projects

Clinical Research Associate identifies the sites, initiating and tracking the process of the studies submission to Ethic Committees/Regulatory bodies, monitors clinical studies and assures high quality of the clinical data.

          We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a full-time position as the Head of the newly founded Department of Pathology Services.
          The Department of Pathology is embedded within the diagnostic departments of CENTOGENE, and works within the internal and external organizations to ensure that strategies for the treatment and cure especially of tumor diseases are based on accurate analyses of pathogenic and genetic mechanisms. The Department collaborates with and provides pathology support to scientists in the genetic testing especially of somatic mutations, characterization, and preclinical development of novel therapeutic products. These include mostly diseases caused by malignant transformation. Pathologist support effort includes participation on teams devoted to the development of predictive and prognostic markers in many of these diseases.

          Your qualifications
          • Candidates should have detailed knowledge of pathophysiology, especially in oncological indications
          • He/she should be a MD
          • A PhD degree in a related field, in addition to the MD degree, is desirable but not required
          • We seek candidates who are experts especially in the diagnostic categories of somatic oncological entities in the context of a detailed and current understanding of molecular and cellular biology
          • Candidates must have a valid medical license, and be ideally Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as a certification of added qualification in Cytopathology or Molecular Pathology
          • Candidates must have training and five or more years of experience especially in Oncopathology, and have demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical/academic environment
          • Candidates are expected to participate in teaching activities for house-staff and in conferences.
